IBS Health
Thank
you for visiting IBS Health.
My name is Shawn Eric Case. I
have been diagnosed with
Pain predominate IBS and alternating bowel movements and I have
had it for over thirty years now,
although currently my condition is much improved. I am active in providing
current IBS information
on the web and other IBS endeavors, including IBS research and support
groups. My site contains
general and professional information about IBS and research information,
as well as medications,
testing, foods, glossaries, searchable databases, psychological treatments
and links to the latest articles...
Information on diagnosis,
serotonin and IBS, the Brain, MRI, Pet Scans and IBS, the Limbic System,
inflammation, bacteria and IBS, the brain-gut axis, the HPA axis,
hormones, food information and diets,
new medications for IBS, information on symptoms, research on the
effectiveness of
psychological therapies in IBS, CBT, Hypnotherapy, stress and anxiety
information,
relaxation techniques, yoga, progressive muscle relaxation, and support.
I am in the process of revamping the site and adding
more information.
